As we talked about in our last post, New York City has become a hotbed for energy efficiency opportunities in the commercial and industrial space. Local Law 88 has created a mandate for energy conservation in the lighting of non-residential space in buildings. Equally as important is the energy savings that can be found within HVAC systems.
The impressive reductions in operating costs and energy usage from modern LED lighting have been a catalyst for the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives across the country. New York City, one of the largest and most energy intensive areas in the U.S., is no exception.
